Bob Pound

I grew up on my Grandparents 125 cow dairy farm in Central NY near Syracuse. They bottled milk for Colgate University in Hamilton. I had a real interest in soils and growing different row crops. I received my BS degree from S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill in Agronomy. I started my career with Agway Inc as a fertilizer blend plant manager. I was a field potato agronomist. I then got into the wholesale fertilizer business with Agrico selling rail cars and barges of fertilizer materials. Spent time with Arcardian Nitrogen company. Southern States Coop. VP of Agronomy for a WI Coop. ICL fertilizer and Verdesian Life Sciences. I have 40 years of sales and marketing experience of a variety of agricultural products in the Mid-West and the East Coast.
